I AM NOT TIRED

Nasreddin Hodja loves to travel. One day, while traveling from country to country, Nasreddin Hodja stopped by a village. The people in the village hosted him. They performed the night prayer. They chatted for a while. It’s time to go to bed. Nasreddin Hodja had no intention of going to bed. The villagers said, “Nasrettin Hodja, why do people yawn?” to tell them that it was time to go to bed. Nasreddin Hodja said: ‘Either because of hunger or lack of sleep.’ Nasreddin Hodja yawned forcefully and said: “I’m not sleepy yet.”
